Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)
Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)
PDR is a method of removing dents, dings, creases & hail damage from the panels of a vehicle without the need of body filler & paint.
This requires a skilled technician to manipulate precise locations of the metal to the correct height, which can only be achieved using specially designed tools & lights, preserving the vehicle’s factory finish & value.
PDR is not only environmentally friendly it is also a cost effective & time-saving alternative to traditional dent repair methods.
what is pdr - paintless dent removal?
How does it work?
PDR technicians use metal rods & body picks to push dents from the underside of the panels.
Glue & specially designed tabs may also be used to pull out the dents from the outside of the panel.
Fine tuning repairs may also include tapping down the repair to remove any high spots that may occur during the process.
We are also experienced in working with insurance companies to ensure customers are looked after.
So whether it's that small car park dent or a large crease, or a whole car covered in hail damage. It is worth asking us to see if we can fix it first.
Please Note: For ultimate results, using our PDR method the paintwork needs to be intact as we don't offer traditional spray painting. We can however brush touch small chips and scratches using a paint brush and/or flow pen.

Every vehicle is susceptible to chips & scratches.
That’s where brush touching can help improve the appearance, stop further paint deterioration, & prevent rust.
Brush touching is where paint is applied with specialised flow pens & micro brushes to fill stone chips & gouges.
At Carter’s Scratch and Dent Centre we use the latest paint scanning technology to scan your cars paint ensuring we get the most accurate colour match, even more advanced than using your paint code alone.
Scratch Removal
Scratch Removal
Most cars have a clear coat layer over their base colour coat.
This is a protective layer designed to protect the base coat, unfortunately sometimes accidents happen that scratch the clear coat without damaging the base coat.
This is where scratch removal is a quick & cost effective way to repair these light scratches.
Our highly trained technicians at Carter’s Scratch and Dent Centre use specialised techniques along with compounds and buffing machines to remove & level out the scratches restoring it back to its original appearance.
Paint Protection/Correction
Paint Protection/Correction
Buffing & polishing is a process to remove hazing, minor scratches, marring, swirl marks, & other blemishes on the vehicle’s clear coat.
This process uses specialised machines & polishing compounds to slowly remove microscopic layers of clear coat until the surface is smooth again.
Restoring your cars appearance & giving it a nice, glossy shine.
